Finance Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Finance Manager to join a large team based in Chelmsford.
As a Client Finance Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for online finance enquiries, providing expert advice and tailored solutions to customers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, compliant sales process while delivering a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable finance options.
- Manage finance quotes and services, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and company standards.
- Clearly explain financial products, ensuring transparency and customer trust.
- Monitor and improve conversion rates, KPIs, and overall performance to meet financial targets.
- Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system and handle administration efficiently.
- Conduct affordability checks, credit assessments, and ensure adherence to FCA and GDPR guidelines.
- Collaborate with dealerships, lenders, and partners to ensure seamless transactions and fraud prevention.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in motor trade, finance, or an FCA-regulated role is essential.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of car finance, warranties, insurance, and FCA compliance.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Drive: A target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment: A proactive approach to staying updated on FCA regulations, SAF training, and industry best practices.
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, occasional Saturdays)
