Commercial Administrator
Calling all Customer Service professionals looking to work in an extremely busy environment! We are currently recruiting for our clients based in Saffron Walden for a Commercial Administrator.
This role is mainly email based with the occasional phone call, but the emails are very time sensitive and need a speedy and professional response.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
You will handle every aspect of managing the administration and customer service processes required to deliver end to end service to some of the biggest airline companies in the world.
- Regular liaison with company Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of airline components
- Flag up any supply issues such as shortages or delays and liaise internally with the Purchasing, Planning and Engineering Team Leaders to progress works to agreed deadlines
- Accurately input information into our inhouse database systems (Aerotrack)
- Identify and implement processes to improve quality of service and productivity
- Handle any customer service issues and complete general administrative duties
- Respond to Customer questions.
- Supporting team members with their roles and to provide cover with annual leave (Sales, Estimating, Purchasing)
- Answering incoming/external phone calls
- Ensuring on Company documents are up to date on our website.
- Researching the cost of items such as parts and labour.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with the Technicians, Buyer, Sales and Admin Team members internally as well as with external operators and customers.
- Using internal systems (Aerotrac) to generate consistent quotes by Customer and by Component type to agreed margins.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in an aviation company.
- knowledge of planning, monitoring and managing workloads to achieve production targets
- knowledge of office administrative procedures.
- proficient in relevant software applications.
Good to know:
- 40-hour week Monday to Friday.
- Working hours: 8:00-16:30.
