Accounts Assistant
We are looking for an accounts assistant to join a well established business just outside of Bishops Stortford. This candidate must be confident with Sage 50 and have a background working within an accounting position.
Main duties
Reporting to the Management Accountant
· Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
· Inputting of purchases invoices
· Raising sales invoices
· Liaising with suppliers and customers
· Accounts reconciliations
· Preparing payroll
· Cost reporting
· Assist with month end reports
· Credit card Expenses
· Credit Control
· Month end reports & checking financial transactions for accuracy
· Any other duties as reasonably required by management
Skills and knowledge
· Financial and commercial awareness.
· Knowledge of Sub Contractors/CIS an advantage but not essential
· Knowledge of Sage Accounts & Sage Payroll desirable
