Accounts Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy Accounts Department supporting the whole of the company operations.
We are looking for someone who is Part qualified or other accounting qualification.
Main Duties:
- Review and reconcile debtors, and chasing late payments internally;
- Assisting with the processing of refunds on a daily basis;
- Report discrepancies to the relevant departmental manager
- Code & post invoices on a timely basis;
- Assist the management teams by resolving any accounting queries;
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Part qualified (or other accounting qualification is desirable)
- Use of Sage and Keyloop preferred but not essential
- Experience of working within a similar role
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Competent IT skills including excel
- Ability to work well under pressure, schedule work appropriately and show initiative to improve procedures where appropriate
- Reconcile invoices to statement for daily & monthly payment runs;
- General administrative duties as and when required;
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations;
- Posting monthly direct debits/receipts and making daily payments.
