A popular networking group in Bishop’s Stortford is expanding in order to support even more female entrepreneurs.
The Women in Business Network (WIBN), which is a national organisation, currently holds a monthly lunchtime event at co-working space The Residence, at Wickham Hall, but has reached full capacity.
Group host Rachel Gilbert is now launching a two-hour morning session on the same day as the lunchtime gathering at the same venue, with the first one scheduled for January 17 at 9.30am.
The events will then be held at the same times on the third Tuesday of each month.
“I’m excited about launching Bishop’s Stortford’s second WIBN group,” said Gilbert.
“The current group is so friendly and supportive with a diverse range of businesses involved.”
WIBN, which hosts 50 groups across the UK, was founded in 2006 and is co-owned by local businesswoman Helen Fletcher and franchising group Taylor Made Franchising.
Karen Tait, the owner of group venue The Residence, said: “As a local businesswoman myself, I’m delighted that WIBN chose The Residence to host their monthly meetings as our values are so closely aligned.
“The Residence is a hub for the local community, a place where you can meet like-minded people, share problems and garner new business.”
