Volunteers from housing developer are care home’s cup of tea

Staff from a housebuilding company served up tea and biscuits to residents of a Bishop’s Stortford care home.

Marc Woolfe, head of sales for David Wilson Homes, the developer behind the Sawbridge Park estate off West Road in Sawbridgeworth, said: “Our team wanted to use their dedicated volunteering day [last] year to help support the incredibly talented and hard-working team at Conewood Manor Care Home.”

Marie Flanagan, activities co-ordinator at the Dunmow Road care home, said: “We always welcome additional help to support our residents with their needs during various events.
