Gü will return to Bishop’s Stortford Means Business when the 2022 exhibition takes place next week.
The annual event, which is free for visitors to attend, is at South Mill Arts on Wednesday October 19 from 10am to 4pm.
And chilled desserts business Gü, which is based in Dunmow Road, Bishop’s Stortford, has taken a stand for the first time since 2017.
A number of new exhibitors will also be at the expo, which is being headline sponsored by Stansted Airport, with just a handful of the 60 stands still available.
Firms attending for the first time include Colchester-based independent data protection consultancy DRB DPO, the Hummingbird Cancer Support Group, Stortford solicitors Anderson Browne, which has an office in North Street, and Hertfordshire marketing and print agency Datum.
They will be exhibiting alongside other BSMB first-timers such as insurers Cover My, Snap Fitness, data protection consultancy DRB DPO and Age Concern as well as investment services group Ravenscroft, which has an office at Tees House in London Road, winter maintenance specialists Gritting Works and home care provider Helping Hands.
And refreshments will be provided by The Bagel Box.
“We are looking forward to a really good event for 2022,” said organiser Bob Lee, of Kenburgh Court-based Marketing Kinetics.
“With lots of new companies joining many regular exhibitors, there will be a great variety of things to see and something of interest for everyone.
“The amount of support the event attracts is wonderful. Generous sponsorship has been provided by Stansted Airport which greatly reduces the cost of exhibiting so that the smallest business is able to take part.”
BSMB, which is a great place to get advice on a whole range of issues, also features a programme of free seminars.
The first, entitled ‘Get camera confident: How to use video for social media marketing’, will be by HNE Media’s James Garrett.
The Takeley-based video agency’s director will explain the benefits of video content creation for social media using LinkedIn and Instagram, and will help you to come up with ideas for content during the session.
HNE Media works with clients such as ITSU, AXA, North Yorkshire Police, Citizens Advice and many other organisations, big and small. It also co-ordinates a number of extensive UK-wide contracts covering live music and events.
The second will be of interest to those who want to do business with the event’s headline sponsors Stansted Airport.
Tim Hooper and Sam Ward from the Uttlesford hub will explain how airport procurement works and the importance of the supply chain in advance of their Meet the Buyers event on November 22. Lee will also give details on how Meet the Buyers works and how to register for this one-day programme.
Speed networking is also making a welcome return. Networking is a key part of BSMB and to ensure people get the best opportunity to meet others, a structured session will be hosted by Danny Doyle. This is a great way to increase your business contacts in a very short space of time.
“With a great variety of exhibitors, BSMB will appeal to both those in business and to members of the public,” said Lee.
“For those planning on starting a business, who have recently done so or are just thinking about it, this is the place.
“Free advice on lots of issues will be available and Bishop’s Stortford BID [Business Improvement District] will be there to help anyone thinking of a retail venture.
“And anyone looking to find a new job will be able to meet companies who are recruiting.”
The few remaining stands, priced at £350 plus VAT, can be booked by visiting www.bsmb.co.uk or emailing exhibition@bsmb.co.uk.
And pre-registration for the seminars is also available now at the BSMB website.
