A Bishop’s Stortford technology solutions provider has been chosen to provide IT services to a major Scottish shopping centre.
ITVET, which has its headquarters in London Road plus key hubs in London and Manchester, will be providing complete support to Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow city centre.
The company will be the first point of contact for any IT issues as well as providing email services, cloud data storage, and hardware.
As part of the migration process, a dedicated onboarding team was assembled to interact with the shopping centre. This was a crucial role to help ensure a smooth migration with minimal disruption to business operations.
Buchanan Galleries, which is owned by property development and investment company Landsec and managed by Savills, has more than 80 retailers spread across 585,000 sq ft.

ITVET provides IT support and software solutions to more than 350 shopping centres across the UK, including some of the biggest in Scotland.
The company is also celebrating being awarded Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditation, which demonstrates its compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
ITVET went through a rigorous audit by the ACDC register to ensure all its processes and procedures meet the SSIP core criteria. To maintain annual compliance, it will continue to evaluate and improve its processes.
The accreditation will improve the safety procedures for all client site visits and cut down on new client assessments, saving ITVET time and money.
