An independent funeral directors based in Bishop’s Stortford has recognised the achievements of three of its directors who have each given 25 years of dedicated service.
Mark Robinson, John Parkin and Alan Akers were honoured by Daniel Robinson & Sons, whose head office is in South Street, at an event to mark the family-run business’ 130th anniversary year.
The trio were presented with commemorative gold watches by company chairman Robert Robinson.
“We are very proud of every single member of our team at every level,” said managing director Gary Neill.
“I am pleased to be able to acknowledge that, combined, Mark, John and Alan have contributed a staggering total of 75 years, working as members of our board.
“Our family values and pride in our heritage will always be contributory factors to the longevity and success of our family business and I would like to extend my personal thanks to them all.”
