A host of charities to benefit from chamber of commerce’s fundraising efforts

Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce has raised more than £5,000 to support a host of charities across the county.

The organisation has handed over the cash, which was generated over the last nine months of 2022, to Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF).

Raffles were held at the chamber’s key events last year, including the Women in Leadership Conference, Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards and its black-tie dinner, where HCF was named an honorary patron of the chamber.

HCF provides advice and giving options for donors which it transforms into funding and support for small charities, voluntary groups and individuals in Herts.

As part of a three-year partnership, the chamber’s support for HCF will continue this year with fundraising taking place at the same events.
