Our client in Bishops Stortford is looking for a HR Administrator to join their HR Team.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, professional and hard working administrator who is willing to help out in all areas of the large office.

Hours of work:
Full time: 08:30-16:00
Part time: 09:00 – 15:00

Main Duties:

  • Assists with the management of the recruitment and hiring process, including the preparation and evaluation of job descriptions, posting vacancy advertisements.
  • Proactive management of the recruitment process.
  • Working with the HR Officer to ensure all offer letters and new starter documentation is accurate, sent out to new joiners and tracked.
  • Support the onboarding and induction process to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Ensure reference checks are completed for all new employees.
  • Provide support and guidance to Managers to ensure effective management of disciplinary and grievance issues, ensuring these are escalated to the Group HR & Payroll Manager if necessary.
  • Providing support to the Payroll Administrators as and when required, including checking of monthly payroll data.
  • HR Projects as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional relationship building skills supported by strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a commercial approach
  • Computer literate
