Young people with learning difficulties are looking smart in their new football kit thanks to a donation by a Bishop’s Stortford cleaning company.
Haus Maids have partnered with St Elizabeth’s School, in Perry Green, and have also provided equipment for the team to use at their training sessions.
Managing director Tom Davies said his firm, which specialises in residential cleaning for homes in Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and the surrounding area, had seen an advert from the charity asking for sponsorship.
“We were actively looking to get involved with a local organisation and just happened to hit the jackpot with St Elizabeth’s,” said Davies.
“It has been hugely satisfying for myself and Haus Maids to be in a position to provide the equipment to the children of St Elizabeth’s and we will continue to support future fundraising events.”
